Members: From 1967, Roger Waters, Nick Mason, Richard Wright and David Gilmour. In 1985, 2 years after Final Cut, Roger Waters leaves the group.

Phonosynthesis duration: 9:41 (581 s). DRF = 4.32. Note: A year before The Beatles White Album  and their experimental song Revolution 9, Pink Floydcreates a longer song, Interstellar Overdrive (9:41) that even though it isn't completely experimental, it stands out for its free improvisation, stereo panning of the cymbals, etc.


Track 2.- Phonosynthesis A Saucerful of Secrets. 1968. 7 songs. Shortest song: 4:13. Longest song: 11:52. Average song: 5:37. LP total time = 39:25 (2,365 s). Phonosynthesis duration: 11:52 (712 s). DRF = 3.32 (very low density). Note: Pink Floyddenotes a style completely removed from the typical POP short songs structure, which we can see in the average songs of this LP.

DRF = 10.00. Note: First Pink FloydLP with homogenous songs time. This is the denser Phonosynthesis of the band.

Note: Two short songs of less than two minutes in a record where the average song is 8:20. The most extreme LP in the band.

Phonosynthesis duration: 6:23 (383 s). DRF: 12.7. Note:  Pink Floydcome back in producing short songs, 8 of them are les than two minutes and only 8 go over 4 minutes. This LP is the first where the band becomes massively known.
